My bicapsularis grew 6' the first year and it was only about 12" to start. Give a little one a try; by the time you find a large one you might not need it.
I grew one from seed and left in a pot for most of the 1st year- couldn't decide where to plant it, it still grew 2 feet and bloomed in the pot- finally potted it in the ground and it is still growing and bloomed until last week. They are fast growing.
