Well, I joined DG last June, and barely knew what a brug was. At the end of the season I bought a very small plant (well, uh, two sticks in a pot) just labeled Angel's Trumpet. No, no blooms. Then, I bought one from a local nursery called Eagles Nest (I think.... I should go pull the tag. It sounded very pretty.) And then today! With a gift certificate I got at Christmas, I bought a very leafy Peaches & Cream!!! I am soooo excited. I hope they do well this season. Now, I only have to figure out where to put them. :o) Our climate is very mild here - I'm not even sure I will have to do any diggin up for the winter. I have been thinking about putting Peaches & Cream in a large container. Is that ever done??
Well the addiction has taken over. Thanks to all of you. :o) Everyone have a great week ahead.

What zone are you in, Sanna? Gosh I think I asked you this same question this morning.but I can't remember which thread.
I have lots of my brugs in pots. I find the bigger the pot the bigger they get. Though a 15 gallon is fine, a 25 gallon is better! Once I get to 25 gallons size, every spring I pull them out, trim their roots in half, prune and shape the canopy, add new soil .
I go from 1 gallon to 5 gallon to 15 gallon to 25 gallon. I do not pot up in winter though, too much rain may rot the roots if you have too much soil around the roots.
If you plant them in the ground, they do get much bigger!
How is your weather? In the Bay Area it has been just gorgeous.
Another addicted Brug enthusiast.
Welcome be careful though, you will swamped with them in no time at all but at least you have the temp. that you can have them all year outside, lucky you, I am swamped with them inside. I swear I will quit, then I hear about a new one and it starts all over again. so happy hunting for all the ones you don't have YET.
