When is Myers Lemon ripe?

I have never seen lemons so large. How do I know when it is ripe to pick?

I pick mine when they are yellow all over. Mine are not the Mters variety. The tree is starting to bloom now, and Jan is lemon month around home.

From the photo I'd say it's ripe. And as flyboy says, when the skin smooths out nicely you can pick it anytime.
