Found yesterday that my Kincade 16" cc regular tree is too tight for my TB gelding. After spending nearly a whole day on a chiropractic work-up, the vet fit him with the saddles I use. Discovered this one (which is nearly brand-new), my "show saddle", is too tight in the front & rear, and even a corrective pad won't give him relief.
Any suggestions searching for a new saddle? The vet also warned that a "wide tree" may be too wide and bridge/pinch him under my seat.
HMPH! Who'd ever believe that a TB needs a wider-than-normal saddle?!?
