Red,
I just noticed the label attached to the pot. Any info on it? I've been trying to ID this one for you- it looks so familiar but I can't remember the name.

Is it this: http://davesgarden.com/pf/adv_search.php?searcher[common]=&searcher[family]=Saururaceae&searcher[genus]=Houttuynia&searcher[species]=cordata&searcher[cultivar]=&searcher[hybridizer]=&Search=Search

I don't think that's it. I almost bought one of these at the grocery store last week. The leaves are thick and leathery. Kind of like a hoya leaf. I don't know what it is though.

Berry,

It says croton, because i switched the pots cause i wanted a green one...that is not the whats in there...the tag on the inside says foliage plant.
i looked at the and the leaves look longer and slenderier* (if that is even a word) and more thicker...but maybe it is a brother or sister of the same plant.

Thanks for your help.

Yes, it is a red-edged peperomia, P. clusifolia var. tricolour. I have one with the red edges and one with just the same color as the rest of the plant, P. acuminatat. I have several peperomias and they are great plants.

Editted to add this link. http://www.succulent-plant.com/peperomia.html If you scroll down the page until you see them all, the first photo is the plain one and the second one is the red-edged one, like the one you have. I have both of them and they are wonderful plants. I have 5 of the ones shown on that page.
