Excel 2003 Opening spreadsheets in separate windows

At times I want to compare spreadsheets to see if I need to add information from one to the other (i.e. are all the bulbs in my spreadsheet 'Bulbs 2004' listed in my 'Complete Plant List' spreadsheet?). I used to just open the spreadsheets in separate windows and tile them to compare them. However I don't seem to be able to do this using Excel 2003 - all the spreadsheets open up in the same window. Is there any way to make them open in separate windows?
