Hello from CT

Ffld County, CT(Zone 6b)

Hi everyone!

I just signed up today as a subscriber of Dave's Garden. I've often visited, have done lots of reading here, and found it to be a very helpful place, and have considered joining in the past. I'm a long-time member of another gardening forum that has been going through some user-unfriendly changes recently, and I decided to finally join the gang here. I'm so looking forward to getting to know everyone here, and to participating in many of the forums.

I'm off to explore! I'm discovering that there is a lot more here than I originally thought!

Hi again guys! Thanks for the welcome! Still looking around and getting used to this site. Can anyone tell me if there is a forum here where winter-sowing is discussed? I did see a post or two on the propagation forum, but it doesn't seem to be a very hot topic here, lol! I suppose if I want to ask questions regarding it, the propagation forum would be the place, right?

Hi, all !

Have you heard about Romania? Dracula's country (is a mith). Ready to join your site. I want to make the most wonderful garden, I am a beginner but full of good intentions.
Zone 5 a. At this hour there are - 22 C outside and a cold wind from Moscow is waited for this night. Hope to discover how to post this message. Is the first forum I attend and I am not young anymore
Glad to meet you and in my next message I'll tell you the sad story of my Mahonia

Bye, Carmen

Whoa, this thread is loaded with new comers. Welcome to all of you from the US and welcome to Carmen from Romania. Your weather sounds a lot like mine and I am also in zone 5. Brrrrr, cold!

You will all like it here very much. The brand new Winter Sowing forum is up and running but there is a long standing Winter Sowing thread over in the Midwest Gardening forum that you all might want to check out. You'll know it when you see it as it has over 100 posts and it is up toward the top.

You all will have a blast here. So many wholesome people here.

Speaking of new wholesome people... Dena... tag, you're it.

Have fun all,
Lauren
