Somehow I never get these planted before it's too late. They are supposed to naturalize here, so I'd really like to plant some. When do you plant these in your area?
The only thing I have blooming is Yarrow.... my bulbs are up but no blooms...

Bulbs are pretty forgiving.
If planted at the "wrong" time, they may not bloom their first normal season, but they'll be out there storing up food.

Maggie I plant mine with my fall planted bulbs, but they do not need a cool period to bloom, so anytime they should be ok
Yep - I have white yarrow blooming... my red (thank you again) and my new yellow are not blooming but my whites have two spikes blooming and more trying to bring their heads up to bloom... strange year. I planted a lot of bulbs late this year - in early Dec... so I hope for some blooms even if they all dont bloom. Anyone else have spider lilies up? Out today I saw all my spider lilies are up... do I need to cover these?
Some of my daffodils, all of my paperwhites are blooming and the spider lilies are up. MitchF, don't cover the spider lilies just let them do their thing.
MyPaper Whites are blooming, but they are showing now. I leave them in the ground, here, never dig unless to separate and give away or move.
Mitch, I have yarrow, are healthy looking but not blooming yet.
