I have streps, alsobia, chiritas and sinningia and was wondering if anyone knows about propagation with these! I would just LOVE to share some of them.
Question on progating other Gessies.
My notes on propagating gessies from cuttings are here: http://flickr.com/groups/gesneriads/discuss/21854/
You'll find plenty of tips on strep cuttings floating around out there - I don't do much of it.
Oh wow..thanks Keyring z:) that will help me a TON :)

I'm sure some of the links in the sticky have info.
Chiritas leaves I just stick in same soil-less mix water, light puff before I know it I have a plant !
alsobia, I have dozens to me it was registered as an Epsica grows the smae way. I root both of them as stolens. everytime I turn around yesterday I cut a dozen babies off some of my epsicas . I cut the stems short. I use a pot size good for the size cutting fill it way to the top over floweing it will water down, I stick the stoelen in the middle of pot all the way down until it touch soil , water threw real good with warm/hot water. I also wick them. Put them in window ir under light within days they will root and weeks will be growing crazy ! Strep leaves I put either in same soil, or preilite I have some not in both , both work great. Sometimes I use long peices of a leaf , a two inch section can give you lots of plantlets. Cutting the rib out a section can give you 20-60 plantlets. One leaf with a Strep is a Plantlet.
Yes Begonia posted some great photos the other night I think they are in the bargin plants thread ?
Keep everything simple , easy and fun !
