has anybody used this gizmo? the box says it's recommended by vets, trainers, behaviorists. We just bought it.
My little Puddy is annoying the heck out of DH as well as neighbors. Barks constantly. When my big dog barks I know it is for a reason so I always go check it out. But when little Puddy barks, I will go out and he is looking around like a dummy, barking for no apparent reason (as if to say, "well, I need to bark--don't wanna forget how"). He doesn't chase after people or cars, but he will bark at them endlessly. Puddy is about 7 mo. old. Again, he doesn't seem agitated when he barks, it's more like doing it just for fun, which is what really gets on hubby's nerves.
The collar is supposed to emit a high freg. tone in direct response to the bark. Hubby just put the collar on him. I hear Puddy barking...
