Very cool! I hadn't realized that the judging was finally finished, so I headed over to check things out.... wow, there are some stunning photos there (some I remember, others I think I missed!). I loved begonia's gorgeous Maui cactus picture!

I had another cool thing happen last month with one of my photos... There's a book being published by the Center for Health and the Global Environment at Harvard Medical School, and they want to use my photo of a tomato hornworm being parasitized by braconid wasps! I'm so proud....
This has nothing to do with AVs, but here is my soon-to-be-published-in-5000-copies photo, :-)

And I've gone from startled to stunned to see that so many people liked my Scheherezade lily photo that it won Best Overall Lily! Not bad for a bloom that I had to haul up off the ground in order to take a picture after its 6 foot tall stalk went crashing over in a rainstorm....

Next year, we shall lobby for an AV judging category! and maybe another category for other gessies! but only if everyone promises to submit lots of pictures.... This year, somebody asked for a category for fuscias that only recieved 6 entries, and there was some flak about that....

Begonia that picture is Wicked WOW. And it beans ??I love it even if it did make me dizy.
