Anyone have finches? My first babies...and a question

I have zebra finch. I have had a whole lotta eggs that they eventually tossed out of the nest. I kinda forgot about the possibility that ONE day, there might be a baby in the nest!

Anyway, to my surprise, there are 2. One...who is feathered, pokes his nose out on occasion, other than that, he's in that nest.

#2 is very odd looking...it looks more like a canary. It's feathers are almost white, tinged with yellow. Day before yesterday and today, found it on the bottom of the cage. It tries to fly and can fly from spot to spot on the floor, but doesn't have any elevation yet. So I put it back in the cage, which I read I should do.

I assume he's older than the other since he keeps leaving the nest, but the other one looks like a finch already, and this one...doesn't.
