Those are neat junglebob :)) Once you put one leaf down as you know it never ends :)) I just use solo cups now and clear like shoe boxes and larger ones. Tops of them work great as trays for my plants. Everyone sells them Big Lots starting about ,79 cents. Each siz quart box holds about 16 3 oz. solo cups of leaves :)) Everyone sells the Kmart, Target, Lowes, HD, Walmart and more. They are sturdy, you can bleach them I love them !

Hurricanes..BITE your tongue Bob..Bad word..bad word!

:)
I have a TON of plantlets that need homes..AV wise that is...from a huge lot I got from D*P greenhouses when they went out of business.
I will send you a list if you like...I would be happy to find someone to give them a new home!
I also have an alsobia cygnet which is looking to be adopted by some kind sole.

I would happily try to give an alsobia cygnet a good home! Allision has convinced me with her posts about hers that I could probably make it happy.

Ok critter..come spring..there will be one in your box! They are a happy plant and very easy to care for! *Laugh* mine is young and I still have more then I know what to do with.
I will add it to the list of trades I have going for us!

Thanks!

Paul James (who was commentating on the Rose Parade) mentioned growing plumarias today, and somebody said, but don't you live in Illinois?? He said, sure, but I bring my plumaria in the house each winter... and now it's 7 feet tall! I like Paul James.... :-)

plumeria are even more addictive than AV;s.....but so much more fickle and expensive..

I have dozens of Albosia Babies :))

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

Chris,
I would love some of your AV babies...I lost all of mine when I went on Vacation last year..my DH forgot to water them...I was gone for a little over a week and so I was sad when I returned and found mine were dried up beyond repair. Let me know if you would like to trade or if postage would be good. I will take just leaves if you want...I can propagate them easily...I would love to have an AV that I could one day say "I have had this one for years" I know so many older friends that have had some for years and I can't seem to make it through more than two years with mine...thanks,
JanetS

Drop me a Dmail Janet.
Also let me now what colors and such you like!
I believe I have some tiny plantlets that could use homes now..and I can also send you a couple of leaf packets.
Postage is fine hun!
