Congratulations to DG photo contest winners

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

Todd Boland comes across as a winner in almost every category. Way to go Todd and super pictures. You must have the distinction of the most wins.

I also see quite a few wins by Sanannie. Great pictures there too.

Congratulations to any others whose names I might not have recognized as quickly.

Great pictures. I just wish I'd been able to access them better for voting. I just gave up after awhile because of the slow times. Maybe next year. By then I think I'll have a new computer and high-speed access.

Ann,

Don't forget *unlimited* access!

Yeah, I noticed a huge difference with the new computer. The processor is so much faster that even on dial up, the waiting times for huge pics are tolerable and not impossible anymore.

I'll be jealous if you get high-speed! LOL We are begging for the chance way out here. Everyone around us has high-speed access but apparently this area is 'geographically challenging', but I keep emailing a company that has been setting up wireless radio internet in the area and we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Congratulations folks!!! Ü

it was a pleasure to look through the beautiful entries and vote. I must admit the sheer #'s made it a little overwhelming tho.

St. John's, NL(Zone 5b)

Thanks everyone. I never dreamed that I would have so many winners. I just like photography and like to share my pics whenever possible. I'm actually quite amazed at the wins. There were many photos that I liked better than my own. I guess artists and photographers are often their own worse critics.

Blyth, ON(Zone 5b)

Congratulations everyone! This is some of the best photography I've seen. --Ginny

Ok Guys I have to be a dummy here and beg that someone tell me how to get to the photo's. I'm not very good at finding my way around and I don't seem to be able to find the winners circle. I wanted to look earlier and now I really want to look!

Congrats to all! It took me about 3 days to really decide in my voting because there were just too many fabulous pics. Thank you Joan for your kind comment. My moose photo was from a special trip up in Algonquin Park and the moose herself wasn't the most beautiful creature because of the shedded coat but there was just something about her eyes. The way she watched us, watching her, was fascinating. It seems moose like to drink the water at edge of the road ways because of the sodium content that they've been lacking all winter.

I'm really looking forward to next year's contest.

Pam
Thankyou for the leg up on the photos, they are amazing!
Our small group did fabulous.
It's times like these that I would like to have a big screen HD tv hooked up to my small old computer. The colors and definition looked so amazing it would be great to see them in giant size.

Ann I should have also said they are found under the *Extra's* tab.......it's only seen when you've clicked on *Home* (the Extra one is located on the 2nd row, third tab over): http://davesgarden.com/extras.php Wand down to Dave's attic.
