Just swithced to firefox- HELP!

I thought I'd give it a try since I hear so much about it here at DG and he recommends it. I have always used IE.
I have a few Q that I didn't see answered anywhere.

1) All text size has changed and I know I did not do this-LOL! How do I make the page text stay the same size w/o adjusting it every time I go to a new page or log on? I never had to do this with IE.

2) I had heard here that firefox has an auto pop-up blocker, but when I went to the page to check off all my options, it said pop-up avail for IE only. I don't see it on the toolbar selections, either. What pop blocker would y'all recommend?

3) This may be a small thing, but in the upper left hand corner of each page in IE there was a icon to make the page fill the entire screen. Now I have to click on view and scroll down to do it. I know I'm lazy- LOL! Is there one here that I'm just missing?

4) If I decide to keep firefox, should I uninstall IE from my programs?
