Those flowers almost look chimeral! Hope you have some babies put down, cause you know I'm gonna beg for one! (grin)

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

DO you think it is a mini? Cuz if so it sure looks like one of my minis!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Beg I thought Chimera when I saw it too ! Beautifl !

Aurora, TX(Zone 8a)

You know what, Crazii? I haven't bothered putting leaves down....you know, 'cause I had snobbish 'noid' thoughts going. ;-) I've had this one for ages, and almost chunked it because it wouldn't bloom for me........then, I get these all of a sudden! Lorry, I don't think it's a mini.....I mean, it's in a standard sized pot, and didn't bloom 'til I put it in there. But, who knows? That's the joy of noids, huh? And, I've never had a chimera, so I'm not sure about that.........it's almost as though it has thumbprints in green. ?

Off to take some leaves, and to try separating out a little sucker without breaking it.......cross those fingers....................=)

MKJ, what you need are a pair of really sharp needle nose snips to pop out those suckers! You should head over to my contest to try and win them! Hee Hee!

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Think it is emerald love?
That is the one I have that I thought it was similiar too.
and to be honest I am not sure if my emeral is a mini...maybe not but it is still small and blooming!

Ooooooooh, I'm giving it a go at your contest! What fun--terrific idea! One small, er, "technical" question. Is it cheating if you research some of the more indepth questions? And, GRIN, I know that first extra credit answer! lol

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

I also use an exacto knife which can be bought at a hobby shop :)

Aurora, TX(Zone 8a)

Lorry, by jove you've got it!!!!!!! That's exactly who this is--'Emerald Love.' You see, I once had hundreds of violets.......got a bit out of control........and, a few tags were lost here and there. I had bought that one, and whoops! Didn't know "where" it'd gone to--voila! Noid blooms, and Lorry has a twin. =) Yips for me.

First Class 2: Emerald Love (E. Kolb) Semidouble creamy white/wide green edge. Dark green, wavy/red back. Standard.

Too cool.......thanks, Lorry!

LOL you are quite welcome :)
and Begonia doesn't need one! I have a plantlet for her if she wants one!
I thought this one looked familiar! She truly is a LOVELY plant!

Aurora, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh, I use those exactos like they're going out of style........works wonders on my Roomba too. lol I'll try to keep my hand especially still to get Emerald's sucker baby.........think my reputation w/Crazii might depend on it! LOL

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

MKJ, no, it's not cheating. Use any method you need to find the answers, but don't look at the student's paper next to you. Keep your eyes on your own paper. LOL (remember hearing that in elementary school?)

I added the extra credit in case someone cant find an answer.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Well the sport of Emerald love is Emerald City the Chimera !
I think it's Emerald City a Chimera :))

Wowowowowo Allison..that is SOMETHING!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Yes ! MK and Beg what do you think ? It's the first thing I saw when I saw the pictures Chimera :))

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

MK are you sure its EL not EC?

Aurora, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, I KNOW I bought it as 'Emerald Love,' simply because I'm too "tight" for buying chimeras! lol But, perhaps she's sported on me? Guess that sucker'll be the judge......
