O.K. Let's Have Some FUN! An AV Trivia Contest!

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

I had so much fun watching and participating in the name the new bird Christmas contest that I thought I'd have one myself. I love this forum and enjoy 'spending time' with each of you every day! Just a little way of saying 'thanks'!

WHAT: An African Violet Trivia Quiz! Put on your thinking caps.

WHEN: Starting today and ending one week from today Thursday, January 5th at the same time as this posting.

WHO: Open to all paid subscribers who have made at least one posting to this African Violet forum in the last 30 days.

HOW: Dmail me the correct answers to the Trivia Quiz below. All members who correctly answer the questions will have their name put in a 'hat' (it's actually a beanie that DH bought me for when we go Kayaking). On Thursday, Jan. 5th, I will randomly draw one winner from the hat and post the winner here.
DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS HERE, please DMAIL your answers and mailing address to me http://davesgarden.com/mail/pmail.php?user=begoniacrazii.

PRIZE: A pair of garden snips. Well, they are actually thread snips. But I have found them invaluable when working with all of my baby violets. They are sharp, precise and have a soft-grip handle -perfect for grooming AV's. I will pay the shipping as well. I reserve the right to ship additional 'goodies' in with the main prize.

Now have some FUN

no, no, after all that trouble -- put her name in the hat twice! :-)

I'm "stuck" in #4 and will have to do a little researching before Dmailing my answers to you... or count on my extra credit answers being right! I know the answer to the begonia question, because I drool over that plant every time I see it in a garden catalog!

Northern California, CA(Zone 9a)

Critter, here's a hint. Visit the Wikipedia web site.
