I had never seen this African violet plant before and up until lately did not know MsC's name was Lottie :)) I saw this at D & P Greenhouse looking at all their plants .
FRIEND LOTTIE (Droege) - Semidouble/double burgandy-rose, darker eye, lighter rays,white ruffled edge. Dark green foliage.

It's gorgeous and by the same person who hybridized Aly's series. I wish I had known before I ordered I would have asked for it. It's a standard wouldn't be nice if one of us could get it. Had you ever seen it MsC ??

I've only seen my name on a street sign once and met one other person with the same name. I think thats pretty cool that you found a plant with my name in it.

MsC they are going out of business but you should call and see if they still have one. The lady that owned Fredricks violets D&P took it over they did not own it long. Well Alice Droege Hybridied the wonderful Aly's Av's and Streps and some Epsicas Alice's Aussie my favorite for one ! Well she got Lupus bad. I just love her Av's and Friend Lottie and
Mollie Howel are two Av's in FC that are her's that are not Aly's.
I wish I had more Aly's I have two and Begonia has a couple for me and I hope maybe I'll get more ? I bet it will be harder to get them. If she can not grow anymore and the Business closing and no one keeping these growing they could get lost. I'm hoping to get as many as I can get leaves down and share them ! I have Aly's Blizzard Bunny and Aly's Rosy Baby ! I have had a few Aly's Key lime pie but gave them away.
I also have Streptocarpus ALY'S MAGNETOSPHERE - Lavender background with purple spots and dark webbing overlay, overall. Spotting shows on back of
petals as well. Small grower. 3 to 5 blooms per stalk. Wonderful!
I think Densise is going to keep growing and selling Streps on Ebay ??
