hedge ideas need help

Does anyone have a great idea for hedge? Live in central Florida- zone 9. Preferably evergreen, can be 4-6ft tall. some color would be great. Have full sun, sandy soil ( 200ft) also 150 ft clay soil. I am looking for something really cool and different.
Please help !!!
