Immy is a new girl

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

Last friday she went to the Vet to be spayed. Recovery was excellent, perhaps too good. All she wanted to do was play chase-me-all-over-the-yard-and-house with Tinkerbelle. Keeping her (Immy) in some semblance of calm and reserve has been well nigh impossible. Evening before last while I was temporarily "occupied" and unable to keep an eye on them Tinker decided to relieve Immy of her yoke. Scratch one new chewed up hood, and more disturbingly, the disappearance of the piece of pantyhose that secured it. New hood, new rules, new trip to the Vet, new salve, and new appreciation for the ability of these kids to leap into mischief the minute my back is turned. Immy isn't a happy camper right now, neither is Tinker, but the stitches will be out next week and things will be back to their normal chaos. But no puppies in our future now, and they would have been so cute.
