DS just adopted 'Scooter' from the pound. He was abandoned/let loose in an apt bldg. Vet says he has quite a bit of hair loss, due to adrenal (I think) gland tumor. Said it's very common in ferrets. So he needs a $140. shot once a year, or $400. surgery to remove the tumor. Not sure what DS is going to do. Silly looking creatures!! LOL!
