Great shopping Charliey's Greenhouse
Great site!
I love Charley's.... I was even able to visit their real store a couple of years ago. I've ordered online as well, and have been very satisfied with their service.
Allison, I have been using VF-11 for awhile now for my AV's..... so that's your fertilizer of choice?? My AV's seem very happy, so I guess it's good..... everyone's kind of quiet in their blooming right now, but maybe for winter that's okay. They're doing well.
A question for you (or others): I think I mentioned in some other thread about how I rooted a leaf in water (one that broke off, so I just stuck it in a glass.) When the roots got plentiful, I planted it, slowly adding soil to the water. It's very alive, but no babies. I noticed on a website I should have waited until babies showed up before I planted it Do you think the babies will EVER come??? It's been at least 6 weeks, I think..... what do you think?
Thanks, and enjoy Charley's.....

Don't worry the babies will come. Give it some Eleanors Vf-11 each watering, but don't let dry out but don't keep soggy. Give it lots of light and warm.
I have been told water roots are different than soil root and now new roots have to be grown, but when babeis are on it first it's like a sucker
and roots and grow faster. I just grow mine in Soil-less mixture. Glad to see you use VF-11. I feel it's great for all plants inside and out. Sometimes when a leaf has rooted it can take 6-16 weeks for babies to come up. Sometimes these a lot under the soil just takes awhile for them to come up ! Don't worry if the leaf is healthy, warm, VF-11 , lots of light you will have babies in no time !
