I thought someone might enjoy this pic...this is my Winter Warrior's first bloom and it is beautiful. I was hoping it would hold off til Christmas to bloom but it is really going at it & will probable be done by Christmas day.

It'a a pretty good size one too. About 12 inches around at the moment.
Wonder if you could dwarf it by potting it down??
It must be my warmer conditions cause it's supposed to be a smokey red or wine color. Seems all my violets blooms are darker thatn the descriptions.

I got a Winter Warrior as a substitute from Bluebird and it is beautiful, just begining to bloom so not as spectacular as your, but very pretty w/ nice delicate leaf varigation!
April with time, light and fertilizer your blossoms will get more and more Spectacular !
