Very hard to say were is the plant from? It could easily be Macrorrhiza. But it does look a bit different I would not rule out odora either. I would have to see more of the leaves as well as a flower to get a better idea?

Looks like Alocasia calidora, a cross from Odora, but much stronger growing, can reach 5' in its first season. I bought a tiny plug from ebay, but it rotted after winter.

Thanks,

Someone at bananas.org is selling these upright ears but doesn't have the name.

OH well, I gave it a shot.

I will stick with known ears.

Thanks guys

It could be calidora as well. But still not enough to go on for sure. I grew calidoras out and when young they look exactly like Macrorrhizas not till much larger can you tell a difference. It is manly in the shape they grow. Your pic does look very similar but then again their are many forms of macrorrhiza as well.

Thanks Brian. I will stick with plant sources I know ;-)

TTY when the weather warms up.
