Not much happening around here lately. Everybody must be too busy with getting ready for Christmas, etc. I just want to wish everyone the best and hope to "see" you all in the new year again, since I suspect I'm getting pretty close to the dropping out point too :-)
Here's a link to a heart warming Christmas story:

Is anybody "home"?
Maybe everybody's just reading the forum. See what happens when everybody just reads - not much to read. (Reads, lurks - all the same thing really)
Thanks for the link Ginny, that was a wonderful story. Have a great Christmas if you're not back before.
Still around (barely). Thank you for the lovely story and from o'er the miles *Have a very Merry Christmas*!
I'm here too! Checking posts every day but not much new and not much to say from my end.

Ditto for me too. Have a safe and happy Christmas season to all!

I'm here off and on but more off these days than on, lol. I'm finally done my shopping but have many family visits over the course of the next week. In between all that I'm still fitting in my winter sowing and tending my brugs.
Have a great holiday season everyone!

I'm here too. DD has been in hospital for 3 weeks, and we just got home yesterday. She had some bladder surgery Nov 30 and was to be in for 10 days but developed an infection in her pelvis, so that created some problems, and extended her stay.
Luckily, I have a GREAT husband. He has done all the Xmas baking. All I need to do is get a few groceries and we are set. We will just have a low key Christmas. I did most of my shopping early, and did all my cards sitting at the hospital. Figured I might as well make use of my time there!!!!
We have decided not to have a tree because it would only be up for a few days and then have to be taken down. But all of us are fine with that.
It was great to have a short meeting with Lana and her hubby in Vancouver. She came over to my hotel when I was there and we had a visit and talked abour gardening and cement leaves!!!!
Anyway, happy Christmas to all. I am just thankful that DD is now on the road to recovery and is home for Xmas and the family will be together!
Merry Christmas to all, and best wishes for 2006!
Glenda
I think this will be my last visit prior to Christmas. Have a warm, happy, festive Christmas everyone and a very happy New Year. See y'all in 2006! --Ginny
I've been harriedly checking in whenever I get the chance. I'm on the home stretch now,t though, so after tomorrow's shopping trip to the city, I should have more time to post. We like to stick close to home over the Christmas holidays. To those of you temporarily checking out....a very joyous Christmas to you and your families!

I've been kept very busy with the Food Bank of which I'm director. that's limited my Internet time somewhat. I retire at the end of January; so it should improve. And, of course, no time is as busy or stressful at such a place as Christmas as we try to ensure our clients have as good a Christmas as possible.
Wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Ann
I'm around. Mostly reading posts, looking at the new seed catalogs that are beginning to come out, making a list of all the things I want but won't get. lol
No lights are up, no tree is planned. Pretty much going to be just another day around here with me, the dog and the cats. I can't seem to get into the spirit this year.
I hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Drive careful if you're out and about and watch out for the other guy.
God willing and the river doesn't rise, I'll see you all in the new year.
Darrell
I'm here too. I have a lot of family coming to stay and be together for the first time in years.I've been busy decorating, baking ,shopping. I am starting to day dream about seed sowing, and next month hope to start some seeds in my green house. I have underneath heat, and florescent lights so can't wait to try out the new set up. I've had to work too much lately, but hopefully that will improve in the new year.
Merry christmas to every one, hope you all have a safe and happy holiday,
Cindy
