New additions
All these new AVs that I've never heard of... I can't wait until my "First Class" software program arrives!
You might want to swap those adoption plants with somebody who lives in FL, so you can ship them before they get bigger... I shipped some larger plants last summer, and it was tricky to get them packaged!
Ah that might not be a bad idea :)
though he shipped them pretty well and I took notes LOL
These that follow are not up for adoption but since blooming I thought I would share
If anyone wants any of these are their wishlists..let me know!
Some leaves got put up tonight also
This is what happens when hubby works late!
This is Rebel's Camille
The others are not in bloom yet BUT many have buds..so will post when they do!
Hubby bought me first class..I am sooo excited!
I'LL ADOPT SOME LEAVES!
LOl ok Betsy...look through my collection list and this list..then let me know what leaves you want.
If you are good at putting up leaves..I will send them to ya! I am still new to this..though it is cold there right now..might be too cold for them to survive.
I am going to try to get ahold of some heat packs!
http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/561280/
this is the complete collection I listed.
So feel free to look through both
I'll adopt them! if they need a home!! :)
It is probably warm enough where you are now jannich..which one did you want to adopt?
I am sure we can work something out
Be careful shipping nights are cold. I ordered a bunch of new plants from Bluebird Greenhouse this week but it's too cool for them to ship to me now. I told them don't worry about it even after New Years is great. Packages are moving slow now. My husband picks me up at HD the big rolls of thick insulation. I use year round to protect from heat also. Then if its real cold I use heat packs. We have been in the 40's here at night I think you are further down south Lorry. But a few couple weeks ago I shipped boxes to Kenton and Jannich was slow for Priority Mail. Jannich is your South Shore Rose blooming ? When it first opens it's slow and dark but when the double rose looking blossoms open thir some of my favorites. Last time I looked Ebay had a tiny, tiny baby in solo cups up to almost $8.00. I have babies growing but may even buy a new big plant. How is it doing ? If blooming do you have a camera please ? Thanks, Allison
I didn't watch the weather forecast. Its going to be to cold for me to trade anything Chris_Lorry.I guess winter s finally here.if you still have heaven's reflection in the spring maybe we can trade.or maybe a leave.I love the varigated leaves!
Violet_Treasure:) south shore rose has flower buds on it.Also Funny Bunny has a bud.heres a picture.south shore roseI don't know if you can see the buds I haven't figured out how to do close up pictures with this camera yet.
Jannich Thanks. I dont know how either to take pictures. When South Shore Rose blossoms open they start small and once open a beautiful
pin double rose. There was/is a small plant up around $8.00 very, very small plant. Give her lotts of light she will bloom crazy fpr you :)) Allison
The heavens reflection plant is now spoken for
I do have a plant of it in my collection and some leaves up!
So I am hoping to have plantlets in spring Jannich :)
She is truly a lovely plant!
Betsy..I have the heavens reflection set aside for you hun :)
Also I put up a bunch of leaves for you :)
Lorry - AAwww, THANKS!! You're SO INCREDIBLY GENEROUS! =0)
edited to say: Been having problems with my cable modem....not sure I told you but...I have all your "leaf wishes" put down too!

No one wants me to set aside pink sensation for them or Bman's Allissio? Speak now or forever hold your piece
LOL if none of the AV lovers want them...I am going to use them for christmas presents!
Pink Sensation is VERY unique..the leaves are VERY furry and VERy variegated
Lorry, I still haven't had time to take a look at your list. But since I'm such a neophyte at AV's and their cousins perhaps I can just make a request (with list) to put down any girl, variegated or odd ball (ruffled, serrated) type leaf.
For flowers, I love ones with green edges, and like anything but plain old pink, as I have several noid's like that. I don't have much for trades just yet, but I'm getting there. I'm sure by spring my Ali babies will be good sized and ready to take cuttings from.
Here are the named varieties I have so far. (trust me, my begonia list is a lot larger http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/560219/ and if you would like a begonia cutting instead let me know)
Allegro Harvest Moonglow
Aly’s Rosy Baby
Aly's Blizzard Bunny
Bedroom Eyes
B-Man's Barcellona
Georgia Melon
King’s Treasure
Maggie Lee
Penny Lover

It is ok :) I am new to alot of this AV thing too
So hopefully all these leaves will be kind to the newbie and give me some babies to trade.
Pink sensation is mostly white with a pink blush ..the leaves are VERY unique though.
I will look at my stuff today and send you a list of variegated and unusual foliage ones....then you can pick from that
When these are old enough to donate leaves I would LOVE
