I also have a few chiritas...is anyone interested in those?
Chiritas
yes ;-)
I have three kinds hoping for me also. I have extra
Sinensis Hisako now and leaves down of others. Allison
I have Kazu and TamianaI also have some streps if anyone is interested in those.
II'd be interested in Hisako and others.... I'm sure I'll have some gessies you'd like by spring - they'll mostly be species though, as recently I'm not growing too many hybrids.
Edited to say that a friend here offered me Kazu - almost forgot.

I don't have Hisako but Violet treasure does.
I would be happy to start you a Kazu though
Keyring I'll save you a Hisako . I can send it anytime after new Years as their getting big and I have insulations...heat packs if needed. Allison
I do have Strep leaves down with mouse ears :)) I owe Joseph a Daniel but have many leaves down :)) Allison
Hisako Mid October has to be my favorite. Yesterday I messaged her and she is 18 inches across and filling up with buds. I had in this picture taken about 7 of her leaves off which they root big babies fast.
Now she has new foliage and so large I just am so Happy of her ease to grow and to root new plants.
I know I have Matthew..I bougth some other varieties recently but will have to check on what they are..Streps that is :)
I had Matthew but gave it to Mom as that's my Dad name. I think it died on her :((. I have about 5 now, some leaves down. I plan on getting some more Streps from Gary Out of Africa he has the best Streps, and has some gessies too Allison
Do they have a web site for Out of Africa?
Here it is. I'll be ordering in Spring !
http://www.garys-out-of-africa.com/

but was pretty sure that wasn't it....
Sorry Beonia your's is the wrong link. It's Gary's Out Of Africa :)) Link above. He has been selling for years, but not good with computers, so he advertised in Av magazine and sent out his book...His web sight is fairly new :))

I ordered a few more kinds of Chirtias from Bluebirds so I will be putting leaves down of them also :))
I told them don't worry about shipping until Jan. My other Chirtias rooted and grew good size babies fast.
C. Sinensis Hisako new plants the green is lighter and foliage not as thick tuff . New growth of large one is like this also. Mine is forming new buds. I took a picture of it with a throw away hope it comes out , I wanted to show you how much it has gorwn in less than 2 months. It also took less than two months to get good size plants in 3 and 4 inch pots of C. Sinensis Hisako . And I mean 3 and 4 inch long and wide leaves. Very fascinating growth ! Fun ! Allison
Oh he took this picture of some babies they are plants in their own pots now. lol I did not like his plant pictures. But out of almost 300 photos they got ont for the Calender and two for Hospice magazine over 48 thousand copies go out. Precious and I are on the cover of the magazine. That was a surprise. Then inside is a story about us and another picture !
I was hoping there would have been more and better plants pictures. I just got the CD in the mail today. Almost 300 pictures about the only good ones.
They are all super lovely Allison :)
Thanks Lorry. I really love my Chiritas and have a couple more on order from Bluebrids for New Years :)) I like the Streps and Epsicas too. Just they grow so large. I need to get hubby to put a couple layers of window shelves. The front of our livcing room has three I'm going to have my husband make two shelves one right along the bottom and then half wat up another right across . Each one will be about 8 foot long. Great for growing my Streptocarpus plants, Chiritas and Epsicas :)) Allison
