Is it possible that this photo was uploaded to the wrong plant? AIS has this description for Intrepid:

INTREPID

(K. Mohr, R. 1989). TB 36" (91 cm) M.
Ruffled dark lavender violet; pale lemon to white beard.

Well, anything is possible. LOL I took this photo at Snow Peak Iris last year.

I just looked up Cayeux's website and found if you type Intrepid into the search box, you will get a photo that looks pretty similar to what I have uploaded: http://www.iris-cayeux.com/boutique_us/fiche_produit.cfm?ref=intrepide&code_lg=lg_us&type=6&num=1

Ok, now I realize that one is entered under Mohr instead of Cayeux. I'll go look some more.

What a difference an "e" makes. I'll notify PF admins it needs to go under "Intrepide" instead of "Intrepid." And Denise at Snow Peak should know the correct spelling of the name too, I think. ;o) Thanks

Intrepide TB Introduced by Cayeaux in 2001

It's possible that the first photo was taken on a cloudy day.....? It does look close, and may well be Intrepide... but the time of day, etc, can change the color that a camera might capture. &:-)
