Creeping cotoneaster. Great groundcover for a corner. Red berries in fall/winter. Will mound but if left unchecked, will run and root.
have for postage
I would love to have some tig. do you know if birds like the berries? let me know where to send postage and how much.
thanks for the offer!!
I wish I knew about the birds, it's on the side of the house I don't ever see from insider. It is evergreen:) I'll email you with my addy.
The birds love this stuff....like candy!
if you have enough i would love some.
me too, would be a nice thing to have in that new blank spot beside the garage... ? Does it handle full sun? I'm zone 5b... I had an upright cotoneaster and I loved the thing. It had pretty pinky flowers in spring and yes, berries were lovely. If you have enough, I'd love some.
Thanks!
Good morning tiG
Not sure how I missed seeing this yesterday, IF you still have a small sprig let me know. thanks Mike
I have plenty. We had let it go for a very long time, and we've decided to cut it back to a mound, instead of letting it have the whole section of garden it has now.
Bonnie, will it handle filtered sunlight? If so, I'd like some too.
{{Jerrie}}
It's best in filtered light Jerrie, I'll send some with the cardinal vine.
Do you still have any? If so I would like some as well, Please email me.
Thanks
tig I would love some if you have enough to go round.
I'm digging this weekend, so I will get it all out then to each of you. Just haven't been able to take this heat, but my DH works with me on Saturdays:)
That's okay tiG, we're all suffering from the summertime blues right now, and heed our dear Jim's advice about a Heat Stroke!
Hugs
Jerrie
