I love these two, what's your favorite Bar Cookie?

Mixed Nut Bars

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup soft butter
3/4 cup brown sugar

1 6 oz. pkg butterscoth chips
2 Tbls butter
2 Tbls water
1/4 cup light corn syrup
- - - -
1 1 lb can mixed nuts
Blend together flour, butter and brown sugar. Pat into 13x9 pan. bake 10-12 min @350.
In saucepan combine other ingredients. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in nuts. Pour over crust. Bake 10 minutes or until bubbly.

Lemon Bars

Crust:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup powered sugar

Filling:
1 cup sugar
2 tbls. flour
1/2 teas. baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
2 Tbls. lemon juice
1 lemon rind zest

Frosting:
1/2 cup powered sugar
2 Tbls. melted butter
1 teas. vanilla

Crust: Combine until crumbly. Pat into 8x10 baking pan. Bake @ 350 for 12-15 min.
Filling: Combine sugar, flour & baking powder. Blend in eggs, lemon zest and juice. Spread over baked crust. Return to the oven for 25 min.
Frosting: Combine powered sugar, melted butter and vanilla. Spread over bars while still hot.
