Hi my name is Lorry.
I am into african violets, Streps and Episcia.
Along with my succulents and cryptanthus :)
My husband Chris is into palm trees and bamboo mostly :)
We live in FL
I have over 60 varieties of violets, ranging from trailers, to mini, to semi and standards :)
I truly look forward to getting to know everyone here :)

I actually have talked to you under tawny30 before hubby and I combined into one account and joined :)
Would love to talk..Though let me know particular interests now so I Know what to start plantlets of and how many :)
If you have an idea that is :)

I thought the 60 varieties and Cryptanthus sounded familiar. Ah ha. Pleased to make your aqaintence un-incognito! I could certainly find something in common with your other half. I suggest that when you two post, etc, sign off with a name as to avoid confusion! I have to do a bit of that.

Again, Welcome to Dave's,
Kenton (James) Seth

Welcome Lorry & hubby too!

I share a love for Cryptanthus, too. I have a nice small collection, they are all pretty though.Ton's of bromeliads, too.
Trailers are my favorites, then the really big standards,if they survive my care that long...lol

I look forward to checking out your trade list.

Glad you found us.

*laugh* Oh James..our fascinations are VERY different so I am sure we will not get too confused but we will always sign off.
He could sare less about my AV, orchids, and such.
He is into my succulent garden and my cryptanthus though. :)
he is mainly into Palms, trees and such :) He is our landscaper so to speak :)
I will check both accounts for a bit..in case people write back to me on the other one :) But this is the one I will predominantly use :)

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Oh critter! I have TONS of Cryptanthus..I have photos on my home computer once I get it back up and running. I will post some pictures to my trade list.
I have a few pups from different species..the problem is I don't have names to most of my crypts :)
I do have a cascading crypt that is SOMETHING :) Sort of like an exciting spider plant LOL
But please...feel free..once I have my trade list up to send me a BIG wish list.
I love being the easter bunny and sharing my collection with others.
I had one special lady who helped me immensely with starting my collections and well..I would like to pass that along

Ok now that I am introduced *laugh*
My husband has disassembled my home computer to put up my new computer desk.
I am logging in from work to say I have not disappeared :)
I should be back online tonight or tomorrow :)
Once I figure out where all the pieces go.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

ooh, you'll have to show us your new desk! I assume you'll find a place for a plant on it somewhere.... :-D

Good luck with the computer reassembly -- hope it goes smoothly!

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

LOL it is a huge desk but actually I don't have any plants in the house :)
Believe it or not...they are all over my florida room though. I suppose I should bring some of them in.
