NEWBIE - COMPOST BIN

I really dont have a place in my yard to create a compost pile. It is all sloped. So I was wondering if I should invest in a compost bin. I dont want to spend a lot of money. Which ones are worthwhile? Where can I purchase one?

Well, don't get one of the rolling ones. :)

The "tumblers" that are mounted on something like a sawhorse are quite expensive (and you should see reviews of them on Garden Watchdog here, among other places). I think you're best off making a pile, either with chicken wire or pallets for support. You can always hammer stakes into the ground to anchor the thing. Some nutrients will run off, but hey, you could always put a garden downslope of the pile.
