Why thank you Carla. Want to hear something pathetic? I've killed off every single one of those flowers in the blurry photo. LOL! April Dawn, Jennifer's Wedding, Lilac Time, Lavender Athalie, and Camano Choice are those I can see. What a wicked gardener I am! Some of them lasted for years, but this past couple years was hard on tubers.

You do have some of the prettiest flowers I have ever seen. You, bigcityal, and sudamira (sp) all have beautiful flowers.

Wow so sorry, they are such nice colors. I was just looking through the plant files to add to my wish list.

Do you dig yours up every year? I have never dug mine, I have some that have been in the ground 7 years, some for 3 years, and with my new larger gardens I purchased about 15 new ones this year. I am a newbie with the dahlias basically. I did not know until I saw your link about digging and dividing that you needed to do it. They must have felt ignored all this time...they are still blooming like crazy so I hate to disturb them, but I guess it is time to dig. What do you think?
They are gorgeous and they so far have been carefree...except for the slugs...lol but sluggo works great on them!

No way on the digging now: put your shovel down and tie your hands behind your back! Let them bloom until it frosts, or November; whichever comes first. We can talk more about it then. Yes, I dig mine each and every year. It's quite the chore. We are soggy wet where I live, and colder at a bit of elevation, so they need to be dug :(

Enjoy your blooms, your photos are great. I hope you're adding those treasures to the plantfiles as you go.
