Lovie settled in nicely with my 16 year old boy kitties (I would say about a month). Well on Nov 9th I lost one of my boys (Jinxie). So I wanted another kitten. We went to the humane society last night and came home with not 1 but 2 sweet little boy kittens. Well Fritzie (Jinxie's 16 year old littermate) is pretty much oblivious to them. But Lovie really wants to kill them. I have them seperated in another room but wow she is still really upset! She is again growling at Fritzie and she is even growling at me and DH. I even took a good swat to my hand this morning for trying to pet her! I have seen cats upset before but wow nothing remotely like this. She has been puffed up and growling now for about 13 hours. I dont think she slept much and I know she hasn't eaten much. The only thing she has done so far that is remotely normal for her is she ran in and used the litter box right when I got out of bed.
Did I make a big mistake or am I over reacting again....lol I know I do over react when it comes to my babies but maybe just telling you all about it will help!
I will get the camera charged and post pictures later today.
