I found this at Lowes in baytown for 4.98 in a gallon pot blooming last week. Would love the solid red like this.

The Peach & Red El Capitolio are the easiest of the tropical hibiscus to root & grow.

wow Sandy what a steal. Our Lowes has them to but at 8 dollars a gallon. Nothing is named, I just happened to see them with blooms.

That was ours. They had the tag with pictures of alot of different hibiscus, but they were blooming and I was going to pass. But that bug bit me and I went back for them.

Wonder why the price difference? Donna wehn blooming slows down maybe I can root some cuttings. They are blooming so pretty right now.

Did you have hibiscus and did they make it?

Blessings,

Sandy ^8^

Sandy I have a few that made it and have ordered some more from e-Bay and Ruby brought me a few when she came last weekend. So i am looking good for Hibiscus again lol. Both of the El Capitolio I got from Gloria made it. I need to repot them bad. They are side ways in their pots. Didn't want to mess with them after all they had been through and I couldn't get any good potting soil until now.

Just found a red El Capitolio at Wal-Mart last night. It's very full, in a 6" pot. It is full of blooms and buds. It was $1.98. Of course, we are in Florida.

You are so lucky. Good price!

I checked to see how pot bound it was. It contained 5 plants all stuffed in that little pot. My guess is they rooted the cuttings in it. The roots were packed pretty tight. I encouraged them apart. Only 1 plan did not have more buds. Now I'll have 4 for the plant sale in October.

Really great deal!
