I am just so happy with my new addition to my family:-) I wanted to share. Her name is Caera (pronounced "keera"), it is a Gaelic name meaning "friend".
I lost my last two "children" last year from old age. The hole was so big in my heart I waited many months before thinking of adopting again. The hole is still huge, but Caera, with her light, her innocence, her knowledge of everything must be her way, is helping my heart to open once again. She is a spit fire, doing everything in her power to train me (I think she is winning so
far:-)
One more thing, does anyone know what happened to the "LUCY SPINNER JAMES. Got it right that time!" thread? Before Caera came, I used to so look forward to reading it, such dear people and dogs, their stories lightened so many dark days.
