New Bloom - JPxJN

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Again...I don't know (rather...I have forgotten) who sent me seeds from this cross. Please speak up, Mighty Benefactor!!! Here are the first blooms...quite nice to have 5 open at once the first time. I like this one for the calyx on the throat and the long tendrils... Can't say it looks like anything earthshattering....but I will keep blooming it to see if, with time, they might change...

Its very lovely...

I like the long tendrils. Time may make her look different. White is starting to grow on me.

Question: Once a seedling has bloomed...to grow her longer, do you take cuts of the original plant? Move the original plant?...what is next?

Carol

Anyone want cuts to grow her out?

Corte Madera, CA

(be still my heart). carol, if it's not too much trouble to send cuttings here, i'd send for postage and handling. thanks.

love the clean white, and the tendrils.

Very pretty blooms.
Carol I would imagine in your zone 11 you can leave it right in the ground to grow into a tree. Zone envy here. :)
If you want to be sure not to lose it you can send cuttings out in case you lose the original plant.
You can also save the root ball if you cut it down. It will grow some nice straight shoots for next year.

What fun you will have with all your seedlings Carol. No stop in their growing. You are such a lucky girl!!

Sure... I need to move it from my Seedling bed but may wait a bit and see the second flush. Would be glad to send out cuttings of her....send me a Dmail with address: :>)
