HERBIE43 sent me a bunch or black 2 gallon pots. I think I'm going to try to do ornamental peppers and okra in them. One side of my house gets great sun, but the beds are overrun with poison ivy, to which I am extremely allergic. I've had to let the gardens go as a consequence, so it ends up looking like a horrendous jungle by mid-summer. There's a sidewalk running the entire length, so I'm thinking I could place the pots every 2 feet or so, slightly staggered and give the area a nice festive look.

I'll send you photos if I'm successful!
