Hello all,
I have native plant seed for trade, I am looking for native plant seed. Thanks for looking!
99% of my seed will be cleaned of chaff. Milkweed..I'll send you the whole pod, or the fuzz w/seed attached, and rattlesnake master..I'll either send the whole pod or crush it up, you get seed and chaff. If you're totally anti-chaff, then you probably shouldn't trade with me, and I'd say you need to get out more. Chaff happens.
Please use bubblewrap when you send your seeds. Sorry about that...that's my only condition. Edit..I lied. There is another condition. I will need your address. In a DG mail. I'm not a stalker, pervert, or any other sort of ne'er do well. I'm not asking for your SS or credit card #'s, for cripe's sake. Relax already! ;-)
I really prefer trades for other US native plant seeds(forbs, grasses, wetland and bog), but if you have something non-native and interesting...give me a tootle!
When seed is ready, there will be an asterisk by it! Updated 11/23/05. The native plants are all NE Illinois genotypes, or SE Wisconsin genotype. All of these seeds can be late fall/winter/very early spring sown. They all need cold/moist stratification, which you can also do in your fridge.
Sorry this is so dang long, but I've been trading for so dang long! Newbies appreciated and treated like the sweet, dewy youths that they are.
