Oh if I'd only known a little sooner. I have access to tons of it, but the temps went down to 13 degrees a couple of nights ago, so there's nothing worth harvesting now. Could get plenty for you in spring though. Neal.

oh, boo-hoo. I just want the tops is all.

check out his link: Medicinal Uses of Lemon Balm http://www.gardensablaze.com/HerbLemonBalmMed.htm

"It also appears to have properties that inhibit bacteria and viruses."

OMGosh, was just down at my lower garden and saw that the freezes I had didn't bother the lemon balm a bit, some have a tinge of purple, other than that they look great.

I think you could freeze the balm in your freezer and take out when needed, LMK if you haven't got it yet. postage is fine with me!

Edited to say: I grow it for 'skeeter repellent when I'm in the gardens, works great!, just rub the leaves all over ya.

Yes Bill; we can do. I still have your address from the Longhorn okra trade, last year. My address is in the 'extras'. I will send postage out to you via snail mail tomorrow.

On another note; do you still have some of these seeds that you can send along too?

Passiflora incarnata (Alba)
Akeiba Quinata (White flowerer, while they last)
Rose Pink Gentain ( Sabatia angularis)
Peach Trumpet vine
cassia marilandica

Bill, are you ok down there!?

I was just reading about the tornados that hit Arkansas, a few minutes ago!

It happened 2 hours, 25 minutes ago; at the time of this posting.

Can some one please inform me as to the zone this plant will live in? I would love to grow some, but would like to try the leaves as the site posted suggested.
Am trying to go to mostly herbal remedies for most things.

Maxine

Will gladly pay postage for some of the leaves, if any one has extra?

Northern, AR(Zone 6b)

Robin, I'm Ok! although I did have tornadic winds an allot of rain, no injures, only property damage in our county, TG! Thanks for your concern.

Maxine, It looks like your right on the cut off as far as growing them ( Z 4a), with a little mulch, they will probably be Ok. Edited to say, I sent you a D mail..

Robin, The chart that you have provided is an excellent source of using herbs. Thank you very much. I am going to try to save it on my computer (not for commercial use, of course). I hope that is all right with you. I don't want my grandchildren to lose any of this valuable information.

Thanks again,

Chuck
