I call this one Chubby!!! Not very elegant...but you will soon learn why. As opposed to LindaC's seedling, mine has chubby neck on the trumpet almost covered by the caylx....and she is a happy girl. Here are some pictures.... The tree...10-12 feet tall.
Kyle...your other seedling
OH....did I mention that the seedling is Aurea White and Rothkirk and that I started the seedling last fall....plant is 11 or 12 months old, as I recall.
Carol
gorgeous white blooms, carol. can't wait for the misc bud to unfurl.
i see the LONG POD. is that what it is? right smack in the middle. wow!
I love the long, fat calyx. She is very pretty in my book.
Carol, did you mention the name of the first Kyle's seedling?? I've got my fingers crossed that i might have one...very pretty!!
The other seedling is the one LindaC is writing about. I sure like this one!!!
OH, that pink splotched bud opened pink.
The white one is very pretty. I like the shape and those long tendrils.
I like it! Do you know what the cross is?
Yes. Aurea White X Rothkirk.
Very nice ;-)
I just love the chubby calyx covering the cubby throat....and the bluish leaves all compact with the flowers here and there. I am hoping for more blooms per flush as she matures....
Very pretty!
very nice Carol !! Margo
Carol, I like the way your misc. pic looks. Do you have a picture of the blooming open all the way?

Will take one...it opened all pink....:(
Aaaah, but I'm sure it is still beautiful!
