Baked Bay Scallops with Mushrooms

Corte Madera, CA

Suggested Wines: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon

preheat oven to 450F

olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
2 oyster mushrooms, sliced - - - or about 1/2 lb of your favorite mushrooms

1 lb bay scallops, rinsed and patted dry with paper towels
2 tbs mayonnaise
pinch of salt, dash of pepper

saute first three ingredients, set aside.

fold in scallops, mayo, salt and pepper together. fold in sauteed mushrooms. transfer to a shallow baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes.
