Water freshness

Hi all, I'm just curious, if you add ST to a gallon of H2O, how long do you have to use up this water? If you recap it, will the ST be okay? Is this a lame question? I know with Messenger, once mixed, you have a window of time to use it. Would Eleanor's have a window of time, ST? Inquiring mind, wants to know lol!

Heather, I think there is a similar window of time for the SuperThrive because the vitamin B apparently loses its effectiveness soon after being exposed to light. It's not a lame question!

I wondered that also, but just assumed it would loose something, so always just dumped the rest on some of the planters outside when I have made more than I needed. I left some sitting in a clear jug one time and it turned a funny pinkish color so I know some kind of chemical change takes place.

I think if you capped it, kept it cool and out of the sun/light it would last at least a couple of days.... Just a guess.

Did you guys know that adding a asprin to your water will help protect plants from disease? Hobby Greenhouse Magazine had an article on this a couple years ago! I will try to look it up and post a short version if there is any interest.

Yes, I am very interested in the aspirin information. Boy if you could scrounge that up I would be most grateful.
