I have an elephant ear in a large pot that I brought in for the winter. My question is....can I just leave it in the pot? It seems to be doing well in the house..actually better than it did outside? I know it is a bulb. Will it deplete it to keep it growing?
Question on Elephant ears
Yes, you can easily grow ee's in the house during winter. I do with no trouble at all. They'll grow as long as the conditions are right.
Watch them for spider mites though. That's the really the only problem with growing them indoors. By spring, you'll have some nice sized plants to put back outside for the season.
