Cutings for trade or to someone real new

I've a few cuttings for a trade for anything other than yellow... perhaps a nice red.... HA HA HA ...
also sent to someone with out many at all... just getting started perhaps...

Boy Gordon, you sure have the luck up there on that rooftop. Congrats on still having blooming brugs outside in NY.

Gosh hard to imagine blooms still in NY that roof must be mighty warm

I am still amazed with the beautiful things you grow on that roof.
There's a snowstorm heading to the northeast this week. We could get several inches of snow. Hope it skips over you.

welll it's warm in the day... the other mornng the dirt was real hard... and there was ice in the bucket.. today the last dozen or so get cut up or dug... found a resturanteer that has a few in the dinn9ing room she'll trade food there for cuttings... ha ha ha ... smmoked BBQ rabbit is allways on the menu there.. had some sugar snaps with hyssop..I don't think I've had much hyssop except in teas.. . as a side to a razor clam and fingerling potatoes dish .. http://www.nyc.com/restaurants/The_Queens_Hideaway.30156/editorial.aspx

I only have Insignis Pink to trade, other than an unnamed yellow, but in all fairness to others I will say that I have cuttings coming from DGers. If you have any extras I would be glad to either send you postage in advance or reimburse you. Thank you!!

Hi Gordon, you do wonders on that rooftop. I had my first freeze last week and most of mine (that weren't in the gh) were blasted. I did have a couple under a big tree that survived and should be ok for another week at least.

gordon, what a sweet offer. let's keep this thread up so a newbie who doesn't have much yet will find it. i'm new this year and been fortunate to receive cuttings and seeds from very generous DGers.

I've been hoping to find a double white cutting....what are you looking for in trade?
(Hope I've read this right...that you *have* double white to trade? lol!)

I am new to brugs last fall and the only 2 I had growing this summer must have just been to young to bloom so I am waiting patiently to see my first blooming brug. I also just received a cutting of Isabella, which is starting to grow really good. So I don't have any to share Yet but would love any that you have for postage to get me started..

I have Kyle's Pink, Frosty Pink, Isabella, Everlasting and Insignis Coral, if you would like cuttings of pinks ? Mine have to go now also, but I am putting many cuttings in the greenhouse for Spring. My Cypress Gardens was very prettty this year also, but not as full as yours.

well thanks to all who responded... I've sent out 100's to thoes replying to a few posts and another bunch for the diffrent drive by / pick ups... I have to close the offer now ..sorry .. nothing left... save the savers filling up the house for the winter .. and the 6 ....7' long cuttings I'll develop into standards .... Good 06 to all... I thought only A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. Now I find out there is a flower garden also.
The flowers are beautiful my cousin lives in the city wonder if he grows flowers? I think he's in Queens.
