Mine Have been out under a tree (I probably have about 20--I'm such a sucker after the holidays when they put them on clearance!) for about 2 months totally neglected except for an occasional shot of water from the hose...if I thought about it. Noticed today out in that great gardening weather that they have all set flower buds. Looks like I'll be able to bring them in the house in a couple of weeks. Think I'll just keep ignoring them in future years instead of babying them to death and they don't bloom until February!
Christmas or Thanksgiving Cactus Setting Buds
Oh, you'll have to post photos when they are in full bloom. I just love them although my favorite is the Christmas cactus. I had a hugh Christmas cactus, but when we moved I had to leave it behind and now have a small pot with a few sprigs in it. The Christmas cactus is so difficult to get. I was in San Jose recently visiting my two sons and had the chance to go visit some nurseries. The Thanksgiving cacti were in full bloom. What wonderful colors. I was so tempted to purchase a few.
