Our dear friend, Sheilla, just got a call from a gentleman who was in a serious accident a number of weeks ago. While visiting family in the Dallas area he was involved in a collision where he was seriously injured. His female Doberman was boarded in Atlanta, Ga. when this occoured, and he is unable to drive to Ga. to get her. The vet clinic has been very generous in keeping his girl safe and happy, but now that he is back on his feet, he wants his beloved dog back. Sheilla tells me that this man was a long distance truck driver, based in Atlanta. He has lost his job because of his injuries, and of course, he lost his apartment in Atlanta as well (being laid up in Tx. for weeks). He is unable to drive long distances, and his supportive family will meet any transporters in the Dallas area to give the dog her ride home.
