Problem opening links in Outlook

Hi all,
I am having a problem opening a hyperlink when I click on them in an Outlook email.

When I click on a link I get a window that opens up that is titled: "Locate Link Browser" and it is looking in "my Documents" and has a listing of other locations on my computer.

I'm not sure what happened, because previously when I clicked on a link, a new browser window opened and I was taken to the website.

Could one of the spyware programs I'm using be preventing me from opening a new browser link? I have not installed any new software programs and I have previously clicked on links and they have opened properly.

When I click on links in one of the web-based email programs I use (Yahoo, Google) the new browser window opens just fine.

Any suggestions on what I can do to correct this problem?
