this first bloomed when it was windy and raining here in corte madera. was not able to take a photo. this is 1 of 2 of my cdw's. donna's (socal) gift is budding as well.
still a short plant and not easy to photograph.
thank you for looking.

Beautiful Brug! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
Oh thats beautiful....
Ooooh, you've given me hope! Mine hasn't even 'Y'd yet (they have to to bloom right?) but it looks good. I hope to get some blooms on my CDW soon!
Thanks for the photo, I hadn't seen one of the blossoms yet.
Lali
Really beautiful....love the corollas!
beautiful! thanks for sharing with us!
Listen to you Annapet, you sound like an expert. LOL. I think it is just lovely!! What kind of brug shape is your favorite?
shirley, thanks =).
elva, when your brug forest blooms, there will be more "ohs and ahs..."
lali, if i can make my CDW bloom, anyone can =). i'll be in the lookout for yours.
carol, laurie, thanks for looking. first year brug mom and i'm showing off my babies any chance i get. lol.
kell, i've really gone bonkers. my first brug encounter was similar to CDW, but far longer, and fuller. i wish i knew what it was. i should write marriott marbella and ask. i'll sleep better i know. lol.
favorite? there's something about doubles...
Very pretty. Something about those double whites...they just look so romantic. I'd say you've taken to Brug raising quite well. Does this one have a scent?
When, oh, when will we be able to scatch and sniff our monitors? The technology can't be that far off!

I figure since you're only an hour away from me, that there IS hope. I just moved Dr. Seuss into the greenhouse and Lo and Behold he has a bud! OK, it's only one, but perhaps he'll reward me with some more since I moved him into a warmer environment!
My yellow suavolens is budding up for the second time and has about ten buds getting ready to pop. I just go some 5 gal cans to repot CDW into - so perhaps we'll see some indoor blooms soon!
Lali
Hi Annapet,
Oh man, are you a good mama to new trade plants. lol
My two favorite brugs, are the Golden Lady and the CDW that I gave you and now you can see why. I'm so glad to see that they are doing well for you.
I planted both of these plants at the same time into my ground and the GL is hugh, about 10 ft. tall. The CDW is a small brug and more dainty. It is only about 5-6 ft. tall and a more narrow girth.
Thanks for sharing your babies.
Donna
So pretty. The whites are just lovely arent they?
janice, oh, i just love this satiny white. it's so luxurious.
donna, what "golden lady"? lol. i call her PERKY LADY! the GL you and chele sent me are competing for WOW each time i pass them by. can't wait for them to grow and grow.
lali, you get frost in your area, but i know you have a GH, so your brugs will be ok.
thanks, angela! i think 10a is just a charm of a zone to brugs. i'll climb up the berm when it gets dark.
Pretty, Monglow, I love white...
sherry, thank you for stopping by. i am one proud brug mama =).
can't wait to have those pretty pinks!
Annapet, your brug will get better and better with time. The blooms will become more double and full. In our dry climate, I had trouble with mites on mine and finally gave it away. Mailman now enjoys her a lot, even tho I think he fights mites on her too.
oh, shirley, thanks for stopping by! so glad you are back and actively posting. love your "swingtime" seedling. you know i love the thought of my brugs getting better and better with time! this is already a joy.
i may have to dig out this CDW. she's on top of the berm and gets full sun. she seems happier now with milder weather.
