They were on sale at Costco - a mix of red, gold and white. When DH brought them home, I just kept thinking that somewhere Kathy (MistyMeadows) had posted not only her recipe for creamed onions, but also how to get the skins off without an hour of peeling ;)
Here's the thread that tells you how and also Kathy's wonderful recipe :) I'm making these for Thanksgiving for dear Dad who adores them !!
